Lakers @ Hawks Lakers 99 - Spurs 83

worst for the better, although the term "best" has been put in doubt after such a beating. Demolishing the Lakers humiliated the San Antonio Spurs at home, breaking their streak in franchise history, 22 consecutive victories going local. Could not be better.

Each of the Harriers had a remarkable performance, especially Andrew Bynum and a formidable defense that reduced Tim Duncan and Tiago Splitter to nothing itself. The center for the second straight harrier captured 17 rebs, scored 4 pts and put 3 caps.

Kobe Bryant led in scoring with 26 pts (12/25 CT), and 7 rebs, 5 tops and a steal. Kobe tore apart Manu Ginobili, who missed defend the star harrier at any time, being ridiculed in several possessions in which Bryant got the ball right and left. Ginobili missed 7 of his 10 attempts at the hoop to finish with 6 pts in 23 minutes.

Meanwhile, Pau Gasol had 21 pts, 6 rebs and 5 asists, showing a very accurate game and rude to their contricante in the paint. It combined perfectly with Bynum in the care of the board, and with Lamar Odom (15 pts, 4 rebs and 6 asists) were able to take advantage with the power and depth of the front line, topped with a magnificent performance as Ron Artest defense (it was to kiss the muscles after a lid that sent the ball to the second row).

But the most encouraging of the night, in addition to their talent and strength of the squad, was the return of Matt Barnes inactive after 26 games by knee injury. Barnes captured 6 rebs and scored 5 pts in 13 minutes on court. Derek Fisher also , who had injured his shoulder on Friday night, contributed 8 pts.

The maximum advantage of the Lakers came to be 32 pts, the biggest difference Spurs had trailed throughout the season. Gregg Popovich those were led by Gary Neal (15 pts, 7 rebs and 4 asists) Tony Parker (14 pts and 3 asists) and George Hill (14 pts).

At last, angelina banks (led by 12 pts Shannon Brown) was allowed to stand, and nearly blew a 20 sts, ending with a marker that shows the true face of a party which, surprisingly ( we will not deny it, nobody expected, not so) was all harrier.

Now the Lakers are still traveling the difficult trip back to Atlanta to face the Hawks (the shattered last week), then continue in Miami, which is having a good time but always' respetable'- and Dallas. Seven straight wins, and the clearest confirmation that two-time there for a while, and, mainly, there is much thirst for Three-Peat. With this victory, the inconsistency pre-All Star Weekend was in the past.
